Parcelio is a web app that generates an instant report on any property in Spain, combining Catastro (land registry) data, air quality, average income and more into one page. It is aimed at buyers, renters and real-estate professionals researching a specific address, and it is free to use.
What it does
Type an address or cadastral reference and Parcelio aggregates official public sources in real time — the report is ready in under five seconds. It covers six dimensions:
- Catastro: cadastral reference, built surface, year of construction and land use.
- Environment: air quality index (ICA), estimated noise, flood zones and coastal proximity.
- Natural risks: seismic risk (IGN) and radon risk (CSN), with a practical interpretation.
- Economic context: median income by census section (INE) and provincial property prices.
- Urban accessibility: schools, hospitals, pharmacies, transport and supermarkets within 800 m.
- Heritage: catalogued historical elements nearby, with name and exact distance.
A second vertical covers municipal financial health for all 8,132 Spanish municipalities: live municipal debt, budget and tax pressure (including the weight of IBI), payment periods to suppliers and open housing subsidies, with provincial rankings and a national debt-per-capita ranking. Every figure is traceable to the official file it was ingested from, and the methodology is public.
Who it is for
First-time homebuyers and tenants who want to know what surrounds a flat before visiting it; investors and developers comparing areas; and anyone curious about the finances of the town they live in. Sources cited include Catastro, INE, AEMET, MITECO, OpenAQ, OpenStreetMap, IGN and CSN.

Frequently asked questions
Is Parcelio free?
Yes. The basic plan is described as free forever, with no credit card and no mandatory registration: you can search an address and read the full report straight away. Creating an account is optional and only needed to keep a history of your reports. A Parcelio Pro tier is announced with a waitlist for people who need more.
Which data sources does Parcelio use?
Official and open public sources only: Catastro for the property itself (cadastral reference, built surface, year of construction, land use), INE for median income by census section and population, AEMET and MITECO, OpenAQ for air quality, OpenStreetMap for services within 800 metres, IGN for seismic risk and CSN for radon risk, plus the Ministry of Finance files for municipal debt, budgets and payment periods. Each figure in the municipal pages is traceable to the file it came from.
Does Parcelio cover the whole of Spain?
Yes. Property reports work for any address or cadastral reference in Spain, and the municipal finance pages cover all 8,132 municipalities, with a page per town, rankings per province by debt per capita, IBI weight and payment period, and a national debt-per-capita ranking.
What is in the municipal finance page?
For each town: outstanding municipal debt, budget liquidations and tax pressure with the weight of IBI, the average payment period to suppliers (PMP) as a measure of treasury tension, and open housing subsidies from the national subsidies database. Figures are versioned, because the Ministry corrects them without notice, and rejected rows are quarantined rather than silently dropped. The methodology is published on the site.
